Founding The Raw Bundle Club

My name is Tara and I wanted to introduce myself and tell you more about why The Raw Bundle Club was born. Upon starting a new job, I wanted to change my look and buy good quality hair.

I spent a week looking through different hair companies and the delivery time was either too long or the quality was not clearly defined.

When I finally settled on buying my brand new do, it arrived with the hair covered in chemicals and the frontal so sparse I could use it as a pair of sunglasses. I was left with unusable hair and hundreds of pounds out of pocket.

With the opportunity to be able to sample the quality you want before buying and receiving your items with in a week - The Raw Bundle Club has been created to serve and protect the everyday women navigating the hair space.

Ethics and Sourcing

Aside from being able to source high-quality hair, it was also very important for me to make sure that the hair was ethically sourced.

My journey to sourcing high-quality, ethical hair starts in Hanoi, Vietnam. Vietnamese hair is some of the best in the world due to the thickness of the strands.

I visited a village called Bach Ninh which hosted a factory which I was able to visit. Joey took me on a tour of the factory, allowed me to touch the hair, test the hair and talk to the donors about their lives and vet they were receiving what they’re owed.

From being able to vet the factory and the hair, I can assure that the hair is not only high-quality but ethically sourced.
